“The Power Of Motherhood”

This is a vision of the bond between a new mother and her first born. The woman and babe are making eye contact and it is in that glorious moment of transition from woman to mother as she is awakened to the knowledge of what it means to truly love another more than yourself.

“Woman In A Yellow Scarf,” was inspired by a dream in which I went out in public naked except for the scarf and tells the world that I am naked in my art. Every piece is a window into my private world of mystical dreams and spiritual aspirations. My work is literally my soul revealed.

“Pearl Of Wisdom”

This painting depicts a woman adorned by only a single pearl earring. Her breasts are ever full with maternal knowledge and love and her stomach is adorned with the marks of motherhood. This woman is not ashamed of her age nor her body, but is powerful in her sensuality. The pearl is symbolic of the wisdom acquired from a life well lived.

Is one of my most powerful images of personal enlightenment. I christened her “Lilith” for the mythical first wife of Adam because she is submissive to no man and stands fully aware of her own power and worth. Her eyes say clearly, “I dance for myself, alone.”
